PLANS OF TASMAN AIRMEN
START BY TUESDAY UNLIKELY. By Teicirsph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. “Prospects of the aviators starting the Tetum flight across the Tasman are now rather remote,” said Dr. Kidson, Government meteorologist, to-day, “and it is more likely to be about Tuesday before the weather settles, if then. “The pressure is now very low over the Tasman, the .barometer at Hobart this' morning falling at 4 a.m. to as low So 28.85 inches. Strong northerly to north westerly winds approaching gale force in places still prevail between New Zealand and Australia.” Flight-Lieutenant Ulm returned with Captain Buckley to Blenheim late this afternoon from Christchurch. To-morrow the intention of the airmen is to make a test flight in the Southern Cross.
