WEDDING

HART—WELLINGTON. The wedding took place on September 19 at tho Wharehuia Methodist church of Miss Irene Amy Pearl Wellington, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mre. W. J. Wellington, Wharehuia, and Mr. Edward Sydney Hart, second son of Mrs. Roebuck, Okato, and the late Mr. L. S. Hart. The Rev. H. I* Blamires officiated and Mrs. Blamires was organist, The bride, who was escorted by her uncle, Mr. West, New Plymouth, wore a frock of ivory and crepe de chine, and a beautiful veil of silk embroidered tulle held in place by orange blossom, and silver shoes and stockings. She carried a bouquet of freeeias, Iceland poppies and maiden-hair and asparagus fern. The bridesmaids, Miss Kathleen Wellington, sister of the bride, and Miss May Hart, sister of the bridegroom, wore sky blue crepe de chine frocks trimmed with silver lace, shoes and stockings to tone. They carried bouquets of daphne and spring flowers. They wore ropes of pearls, the gifts of tho bridegroom. Tho bridegroom was attended by Mr. Syd. Sampson, Hillsborough, as best man, and by Mr. Gordon Vivian, Wharehuia, as groomsman.

After tho ceremony -over sixty guests were entertained at the Medina. Mr. and Mrs. Hart left by car for Wellington for the honeymoon, the bride travelling in a powder blue charmaino frock, with fawn hat end shoes.
