TRAIN CRASHES ON BUFFER
FORTY PASSENGERS INJURED. Jnited Service. London, Sept. 15. Forty-four were injured when a suburban electric train, carrying 560 passengers, crashed into the buffers at Charing Cross this morning. Most of the injured were women and girls. All, except three, were sent home after treatment at the hospital. Half fainting women ami girls were assisted to ambulances at intervals for nearly an hour. Some were imprisoned in the wreckage for half an hour. Parts of the carriages had to be sawn away to secure their release.
