DAIRY PRODUCE EXPORT
HEAVY SHIPMENTS IN VIEW ALLOTMENTS IO NOVEMBER 10. HALF CHEESE FROM TARANAKI. Some heavy shipments of dairy produce will leave the Dominion during the next six! weeks, the allotments for eight ships up to November 10 totalling 505,000 boxes of butter aud 158,450 erates of cheese. More than half the cheese will come from Taranaki, the allotments for the ports of New Plymouth and. Patea providing for 49,500 boxes of butter and 82,418 crates of cheese. The Corinthie, which is to leave Wellington on Wednesday, is at present loading 11,400 boxes of butter and 5000 crates of cheese transhipped from New Plymouth last week. During October the Port Dunedin, the Devon and the Port Adelaide are to lift at New Plymouth 15,000, 5000 and 10,000 boxes of butter and 12,000, 7000 and 10,000 erates of cheese respectively, for discharge at United States, Canadian and English ports. No dairy produce will be loaded direct at Patea, but a total of 8100 boxes of butter and 47,418 crates of cheese will be loaded by coastal steamers for transhipment at Wellington.
