LANDSLIP IN ISLE OF WIGHT
FAMOUS BEAUTY SPOT BURNED. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Sept. 23, 5.5 p.m. London, Sept. 22. A serious landslide has occurred on the Isle of Wight. A million and a half tons of cliff, covering an area of half a square mile, between Blaekgang, Chine and Niton lieing involved. It has buried the Undercliff drive, a famous beauty spot, and sixty acres of land t.re gradually moving seawards. Fortunately no houses are involved.
