NEW SENSATION IN EGYPT
CHARGE AGAINST PREMIER ALLEGED BID FOR A BRIBE PRINCE'S CRIME RECALLED My Telejr -Press Assn —Copyright. Australian Press Association, Cairo, June 24. A sensation has been caused by the publication of a document, allegedly signed in February, 1927, by Nahas Pasha, in his capacity of lawyer and legal agent of Prince Ahmed Seifeddin, who escaped from a private asylum at Tiechurst, Sussex, in 1925, whereby Nahas and two political associates were to receive £135,000 if successful in securing the annulment of the interdict in favour of the Prince. It may be -recalled that the Prince was sentenced to imprisonment for shooting at Fuad Pasha in 1892, and was afterwards declared insane. He was mysteriously brought to England, whence he eseaped.
