FIGHTING TUBERCULOSIS
INQUIRIES BY COMMITTEE. Wellington, May 22. The order of reference for the committee set up to inquire into the prevention and treatment of tuberculosis includes:—The past and present incidence of the disease in New Zealand; the measures now taken for prevention and treatment; whether sufficient beds ■ire available in various institutions, and whether the latter are being used to the best advantage; what additions or extensions are necessary; whether sufficient action is being taken to ’-ght the disease; whether there is sufficient co-ordination of all the agencies dealing with it.
