SPENDING THE PETROL TAX
SOUTH ISLAND SEEKS ITS SHARE
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. The president of th© South Island Motor Union has written to the Premier asking whether, since he’ has given an assurance that the allocation of the petrol tax will conform to the number of vehicles in each island, he will state definitely before the meeting of the South Island Union on March 30 whether he will arrange during the coming session for legislation giving effect to this assurance.
