The official evening weather forecast states that south to east winds, fresh to strong at times, may bo expected on the East Coast and in Cook Strait, with elsewhere light to moderate winds. Rather rough seas are likely on the East Coast and m Cook Strait, with moderate seas elsewhere. Strong south-east to east winds and rough seas are expected in the central Tasman Sea and extending eastward, with the weather still cloudy in the eastern districts and Foveaux Strait. Scattered light rain is probable with the weather improving temporarily. A renewal of unsettle! weather is probable within a day or two, with warm temperatures.
