The John loaded at Lyttelton on Monday for New Plymouth, where she is due to-day to discharge. The Corinna left Dunedin last Thursday and Nelson last night for New Plymouth, where she is due about three o’clock this afternoon to discharge 750 tons of cargo. She will return to Dunedin to load there on Monday for New Plymouth and other ports. (U.SjS. Co.). The Progress loaded at Dunedin on Monday for New Plymouth and Port Waikato, via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington. She is due here to-mor-row to discharge and will probably sail the same day for Port Waikato. The Kaituna sailed early yesterday morning, for Wellington to complete discharge of coal from Westport and Greymouth. (U.S.S. Co.)

ONEHUNGA SERVICE. 'The .Ngapuhi, with passengers and cargo from Onehunga, is due here early this morning and is scheduled to sail north again at 7 p.m. She will return on Tuesday morning. The Northern Company advises that owing to the Easter holidays the Ngapusi is scheduled to leave Onehunga for New Plymouth on April 2, April 4 and April 10. RUAPEHU ARRIVES. On arrival from Dunedin early yesterday morning, the Ruapehu was berthed at the Moturoa wharf at 6.45. Her draught was 19ft 6in forward and 21ft Idin aft. The Ruapehu loaded at London, and sailed for Southampton to pick up hey pa-ssengers and mails. She left there on January 19. Strong winds and heavy seas w-ere encountered for the first five days. Fine weather then set in until nearing New Zealand. She ran into a southerly gale, and high seas that lasted until she reached Wellington. Captain A. W. McKellar is in command and his officers are: —Chief, Mr. J. Laird; second, Mr. A, D. Landles; third, Mr. D. M. Lambert; fourth, Mr. H. N. Lawson; ship's surgeon, Mr. W. Foskett; chief engineer, Mr. D. Corbett; second, Mr. J. B. Thackrey; third, Mr. H. W. Hynes; fourth, Mr. J. M. Videon; fifth, Mr. C. Beauchamp; chief refrigerating engineer, Mr. H. Henderson; second, Mr. J. M. Young; electrician, Mr. R. Beck; steward-in-charge, Mr. R. 11. Whittaker.

The Ruapehu will discharge 2500 tons of London cargo and will load 11,000 freight carcases of meat, 10,000 boxes of butter and 8000 crates of cheese for London. She will sail on March 24 for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington to fill up. She is due at Wellington on March 31, and is to sail from that port on April 3 for ‘Southampton and London, via Panama Canal. PORT ADELAIDE’S LOADING. The Port Adelaide will load at New Plymouth 8000 freight carcases, 60G0 boxes of butter and 11.000 crates or cheese for London. IKAI.A EN ROUTE. The Ikaia is expected to leave Auckland to-night for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth to discharge cargo from Sydney (C. 8. and St. John. SULPHUR IFOR NEW PLYMOUTH. Advice has been received by Messrs Newton King, Ltd., that the Cowden Law is now loading sulphur in America for Auckland, Lyttelton, Wanganui, NewPlymouth and Newcastle. She will sail Within tiie next three or four days. WAIHEMO LEAVES SAN (FRANCISCO The Union Company’s trans-Pacific steamer Waihemo is reported to have cleared San x-rancisco last Monday with cargo from Pacific Coast ports for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, New Plymouth, Melbourne and Sydney. She is due at Auckland about April 7. - PORT STEAMERS FROM LONDON. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Auckland was scheduled to leave London last Wednesday for Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and New Plymouth. The motor-ship Port Dunedin is to leave London on April 4 for Port Chalmers, Lyttelton and New Plymouth. The steamer Port Bowen arrived at Auckland from New Plymouth yesterday. To-morrow the vessel is to be despatched for London, Avonmouth, Glasgow and Liverpool. THE MIDDLESEX. The Federal Line steamer Middlesex is now expected to leave Napier for Auckland to-day to complete loading. The vessel is due there to-morrow.
