TARANAKI BOWLERS TOUR

FRIENDLY GAMES IN NORTH FULL PROGRAMME YESTERDAY. VARYING FORTUNES OF PLAY. (By W ire.—Special to News.) Auckland, Last Night. The Taranaki bowlers had a full day’s play to-day, when they visited the greens of several suburban clubs and played friendly games. In the morning six rinks played at Papatoetoe (three against the home club, two against Howick and one against Mount Wellington), and three each at Devonport and Takapuna, while in the afternoon three rinks played at Waitemata and Otahuhu and two each at Stanley, Hillsborough and Te Papapa.
