WEATHER FORECAST.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Cloudy weather, with scattered rain and thunder north of Kawhia and Napier, and gradually extending to other districts, is forecasted this evening. There will be warmer temperatures. A depression over the western Tasman Sea may develop into a cyclone between Sydney and New Zealand. Moderate to strong south-east to north-east winds are to be expected north of Cook Strait. Elsewhere the winds will be north-east to north-west. Rather rough seas are probable on the east coast, otherwise they will be smooth to moderate in New Zealand waters. There will be freshening northerly winds and rising seas in the eastern half of the Tasman Sea.
