CIRCULAR ROAD RACE
FINALISING ARRANGEMENTS. A meeting of the Circular Hoad Race Committee was held last night to finalise matters in connection with Saturday’s big race. Air. R. Area presided over a good attendance. It was decided to engage the Citizens’ Band to play at the racecourse during the afternoon. A sub-committec was appointed to prepare the ground for the basket ball competition. The secretary reported that a number of outside riders, including the majority of the Canterbury riders, had. arrived and been round the track. Final arrangements w'ere made for the social which is to be held in the Agricultural Hall in the evening, when the presentation of prizes will take place.
