KAPONGA BULL FAIR

SMALL CATALOGUE SOLD. The eighth annual bull fair under the auspices of the Kaponga Jersey Cattle Club was held by Messrs Newton King, Ltd., yesterday, when 29 animals were submitted for sale. Of these 22 were disposed of, the average price being 18J guineas. There was a good bench of buyers, but the condition of the animals affected the price to some extent, as many had not cleaned up well after the winter. ’Ur. W. B. ’Fearon wielded the hammer.
