WIFE SENT FOR TRIAL
ALLEGED MURDER OF HUSBAND. B» Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, Oct. 1& Airs. Hoey was committed for trial oil a charge of murder in connection with the death of her husband. Norman Hoey, a shearing contractor, wae shot dead while sitting in a motor car in a street at Inverell on October 14. His wife was later charged with murder. In a statement to the- police she said die had been living apart from her husband for three years. As she did not receive justice in court when she sued him for allegedly trying to run her down- in a motor car recently, she had shot him to protect herself.
