AN EXPENSIVE DOG
£350 FOR FOX TERRIER. Sydney, Sept. 29. The most expensive fox terrier ever imported into this country will arrive next week by the Ceramic. It has been purchased in England on behalf of Mr. W. Hamilton, a well-known Sydney breeder, for £350. The dog for which this priee has been paid is the champion, Staunch Swell, who is not yet two years old, and has been a consistent prize winner in" England. Mr. Hamilton has previously imported some wonderfully fine fox terriers, and has done a lot for dog breeding here. Staunch Swell ie descended from the famous Mytus dog, which brought the record price of £lOOO from a wealthy fancier in India.
