Locked up with his partners, Sirotta head the intruders warn their captives against an outcry until after the robbers had departed. The place became quiet after an hour, and the three partners shouted into a ventilator. James Griffin, a porter, heard them, and released the furriers. No one could be found who had seen the entry or departure of the robbers. Furs worth £2OOO were found in the hallway.
