The picture is adapted from a story by that well-known writer, Michael Arlen, and tells of the love of a young officer, who is discredited by hij. rival, with the result that he is diemissed from the army and loses hie girl. After year# of wandering, in which he is marked as a philanderer, by chance he meets the daughter of hie old rival and the girl he had lost. How he shows that his love had not vied and how he wae ■ wronged, and how finally everything comes right—provides a dramatic climax. There is excellent acting tlnoughout, as ■may be gleaned from the fact that Adolphe Menjou ie the star, and he )-s a strong supporting east, that includes Alice Joyce and Norman Trevor.
