LARGE AUSTRIAN LOAN
BIG RAILWAY DEVELOPMENTS. (British Official Wireless.) London, Oct. 13. In London yesterday the committee of guarantor States of the Austrian reconstruction loan decided to give Austria authority to raise a loan for productive purposes up to about £21,090,000. The objects for which the loan may be used are Yhe increase, electrification and other developments of the State railways, the provision of underground cables and improvements in postal and telegraph services. Gratifying statistics showing the recovery ef Austria were cited.
