SACCO-VANZETTI DEFENCE
COMMUNISTS NOW SQUABBLING. ALLEGATIONS ABOUT FUNDS. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received Aug. 31, 7 p.m. New York, Aug. 30. A Boston message states that Albino Felieani, organiser of the Sacco-Vanzetti Defence - Committee, has accused the Communists of America of being more concerned with spreading their propaganda than in aiding the accused men. Be stated that donations collected by various Communistic agencies in America were far in excess of the amount eventually given to the defence committee. He proposes to ask for a statement from the International Labour Defence Committee and from the New York Sacco-Vanzetti Emergency Committee, both of which are Communistic organisations.
It is stated the total amount received by the defence committee here was 350,000 dollars, against 1,300,000 reported to have been raised. It is also said that the reported gift from Moscow of 1000 dollars from the Third International has uevA’ been received.
