SALE OF LIQUOR BY BARMAN
EMPLOYER NOT RESPONSIBLE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. • VVellington, Last Night. Dismissing the charges against Thomae VVeatherburn, licensee of the Dominion Hotel, of selling liquor alter hours, Mr. Page, S.M., to-day expressed the opinion that it a barman had never been requested or permitted to sell liquor to boarders or anybody else after 1 hours,, then his employer was not liable* to be punished tor the action of Ms servant.
