BRIDEGROOM DISAPPEARS
DECEPTION OF THE BRIDE. By Telegraph.—Preu AmocUUob. Wellington, Last Night. The wedding which was to have been solemnised in Wellington on Monday was postponed till Tuesday, and even then did not eventuate owing to the disappearance of the bridegroom. The man, who stated that he was a well-to-do wool-buyer, had the ceremony delayed because, he said, he could not obtain the necessary license for the day fixed, and, .after colling on the prospective bride next day at 10 a.m., he arranged to return at 12, but has not been seen or heard of since. Inquiries show that his representations concerning the arrangements for the wedding and the fully furnished house (which he said was to have beep provided by hie firm) were false.
