STRATTON DEFEATS GOUGH. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Melbourne, Jan. 0. In beating E. Gough at the motordrome on Monday night Stratton, with Gough agreeing, rode a 3% horse-power machine, while Gough rode a horsepower. After the contest Gough chab lenged Stratton to a race on 2% horsepower machines. As, however, Stratton expected to be racing in another State next Saturday it appears tho challenge will not be met.
