GERMANS ACQUITTED
DISTURBANCE IN A CAFE. TRIAL BY BRITISH COURT. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. London, Jan. 5. A message received from Wiesbaden states that a British court has acquitted four young Germans accused of attacking two British soldiers, one of whom was seriously injured, during a cafe fracas on Christmas Eve. Th© British prosecutor declared that the soldiers behaved improperly and were blamable for the incident, but the law of occupation forbade any objections. Newspapers favourably compare this with the conduct of the prosecutor in the Landau court-martial.
