SHOCK TO MISSIONARY
BATHING BEAUTIES AT HOME. LondoiT, Dee. 27. The report of the International Minsionary Conference records that a native African delegate was shocked at ths spectacle of women in bathing costumes on English beaches, and of men and women dancing on seaside promenades, with their arms around each other's waists. The editor of tlie report comments that nothing was necessarily wrong with these things, but the African thought them wicked.
