Commander Moore had an arduous wartime command of a monitor on the Belgian coast. Surgeon-Commander McCowan is one of the Navy’s new exponents of chemical warfare. Engineer-Commander Sutton participated in the Zcebrugge and Ostend attacks, and accompanied the King’s cruise on the Indomitable. Paymaster-Commander Hodge served on the Renown’s predecessor and namesake, and also for three years on the League staff at Geneva.
