CYCLE RIDERS FINED
'FOUL RIDING AT GISBORNE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Gisborne, Jan. 4. Following the riding in the three mile cycle handicap at the Ngatapa sports yesterday, McCann and Brewster, New Plymouth riders, appeared before the committee. The former was fined £1 for foul riding, and the latter 10s for bad language, the result of alleged interference by the Gisborne rider Dolman during the race. .Subsequently McCann and Brewster laid complaints against Dolman and Hamilton, who had supported the former complaint. Dolman was fined £1 for assault and Hamilton 10s for abusive language.
