THEFT FROM HOTEL
MONEY TAKEN FROM CLOTHES. By Telegraph.—Pre- i Association. Palmerston N., Jau. 4. Mr. A. McNieol, of Dannevirke, who is visiting here for the local bowling tournament, had a substantial sum of money stolen from his clothes in a local hotel during the early hours of this morning. Mr. McNieol heard some person moving about in the room at two o’clock, but thought it was the night porter. Later he discovered his loss.
