The Totara arrived at Now Plymouth at 4.30 p.m. yesterday from Wellington, to which port she is expected to return at noon to-day. The Anamba, which arrived at New Plymouth on Sunday night from Auckland woth a cargo of benzine, is scheduled to sail for Wellington to-day. (N.Z. Express Co.). The Waimea is due at New Plymouth to-mor-row morning with a cargo of cement from Tarakohe. She afterwards sails for Westport. (Cock and Co.). The Progress was due at Wellington yesterday from Dargaville, and was to sail the same day for Dunedin to again load for Waikato, via New Plymouth and the usual southern ports. (Holm and Co.) The John arrives at Wellington on Friday next from Wanganui, and leaves for Lyttelton the same day to load for New Plymouth, via the usual ports. (Holm and Co.) The Kurow leaves Dunedin to-morrow with New Plymouth cargo, for transhipment at Wellington at the direct rate of freight. (U.S.S* Co.) PURIRI FROM ST. JOHN. Running under the auspices of the New Zealand Shipping Company’s Eastern Canadian service the steamer Puriri is .to leave St. John on January 25 with general cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, New Plymouth, Melbourne and Sydney. She is a steel four-masted ex-German steamer of 8047 tons and Is owned by the Federal Steam Navigation Company. Her German name was the Augsberg, but she was afterwards rechristencd the Trcmere. She was built in Germany in 1915. CARGO FROM AUSTRALIA. The Union Company’s steamer Waipori, en route from Adelaide and Edithburg, is to leave to-day with Australian produce for discharge at New Plymouth, Wellington, Auckland and Portland. She is due at New Ply-' mouth early next week. DEVON ARRIVES FROM AUSTRALIA. The Federal S.N. steamer Devon arrived at New Plymouth early yesterday morning from Australia direct to commence loading in New Zealand for New York, Boston, Halifax, Glasgow, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Manchester. She Is expected to be in port until next Saturday, when she sails for Wanganui, Auckland, Gisborne, Lyttelton. Wellington and Napier. She is to be dispatched from Napier for New York on January 31. WAIHEMO FROM PACIFIC COAST. The Union Company advises that the Waihemo, which left Newcastle on December 25 for Vancouver direct, loads at Pacific Coast ports late in January and early in February for Apia, Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth. ONEHUNGA SERVICE. The Rarawa arrived at New Plymouth early yesterday morning with passengers and 45 tons of cargo from Onehunga, to which port she returned after the arrival of the mall train last night.
