DROWNING AT GREYMOUTH
ITALIAN BATHER’S DEATH, By Telegraph.—Press Association. Greymouth, Last Night. The third local drowning accident this week occurred at about 4 p.m. to-day, at the Seven Mile bathing beach at Point Elizabeth, where ah Italian, Santo Tjninosi, aged 19, a State coal miner, got into the deep part of a 'creek channel and no more was seen of him until his body was washed up on the beach, 500 yards away. His companion, Salvio Deila Nogare, also got into difficulty but was rescued, and after an hour’s restorative efforts regained consciousness. Numerous o.her bathers were on the scene but kept ..Par of the dangerous channel. Neither deceased nor his companion was able to srvim.
