FASHIONS IN STOCKINGS
FLESH COLOUR LOSING FAVOUR. ODD COLOURED PAIRS SUGGESTED. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received Dec. 16, 7.5 p.m. Paris, Der. 15. Flesh-coloured stockings are losing favour among Parisiennes, who are now wearing blaek, plaid and other patterns, but the Paris newspaper Midi declares that if French makers wish to be successful, they must invent a more elegant fashion. It urges that there is no reason why odd-eoloured stockings should not be worn. The idea that both legs should be of the same colour is as old fashioned as a pair of vases on a mantel-piece would be. The suggestion is also economical, as the old stocking could be worn with the new partner.
