RAILWAY UNION OFFICERS
RESULTS OF THE ELECTION. By Telejraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. During the last eight days an election has been proceeding to elect Mr. Mack’s successor as secretary of the A.S.R.S., and the National Executive Council of eight members, and also the conference delegatee (16). Mr. L. McElvidge has been elected to succeed Mr. Mack. The council comprises: Messrs. J. Doig, J. Elliott, J. Churcbouse, J. Tizard (North Island), S. Schofield, A. Morrison, E. J. Dash, E. C. Fraser (South Island). The conference delegates for the northern district of the North Island are Messrs. I. Keen, J. Elliott, P. Garvin and J. Tizard, and for southern districts, Messrs. N. I. J. Bell, J. J. Schott, J. Churchouse. J. J. Bassett. For the northern South Island districts, Messrs. S. Scofield, J. W. Toomey, E. J. Dash and E. E. Clemens were elected, and. for the southern South Island district Messrs. M. Connelly, A. J. Morrison, J. C. Thomson and E. C. Fraser. The biennia) conference opens on February 8.
