PACIFIC CABLE CHARGES
A REDUCTION PROPOSED. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. London, Dec 13. It is -uiderstood that, subject to the approval of the British and Australian Governments, the Pacific Cable Board is prepared to reduce the rates to Australia by sixpence a word from Britain, fivepence from Canada, and eightpence from the United States, and also, in the case of New Zealand, by fonrpenc. 1 , threepence, and fivepence respectively.
