After tests cheeked by State officials, under which it is claimed that heifers treated with his bovine vaccine resisted the most virulent tuberculosis germs, while those not vaccinated died in. 19 days, Dr. Spahlinger suggests that tuberculosis in cattle can be stamped out if all calves are innoculated at birth. This would lead to the stamping out of the disease among human beings also. Received Dec. 14, 7.35 p in. London, Dee. 14. In the House of Commons, the Hon. W. E. Guinness told Mr. P. A. Hurd he had no knowledge regarding the Spahlinger bovine vaccine tests beyond the Press reports. An official committee created in 1924 to make tests was then unable to obtain vaccine from Dr. Spahlinger. The committee was still existent, but he was unable to say whether it was prepared again to take up teste.
