ROTORUA HIGH SCHOOL
HEADMASTER APPOINTED. MP A. R. RYDER SUCCESSFUL. Advice was received in New Plymouth yesterday that Mr. A. It. Ryder, at present senior eeienee master at the Auckland Grammar School and formerly first assistant at the New Plymouth Beys’ High School, had been appointed headmaster of the new Rotorua High Sehocl, which opens for the first time next February. There were 22 applications for the position, the applicants being finally reduced to three—Mesere. A. R. Ryder (Auckland Grammar Bchbol), C. J. Pettrill (New Plymouth Beys’ Sigh School) and K. Bellow {Auckland Grammar School). Mr. Ryder was appointed after personal interviews between the board aid the final three tppheante.
