The report and balance-sheet were presented and showed a very satisfactory state of affairs. All branches of the balance showed increased funds. The report showed that the membership had increased by 50 over the previous year. The lodge was now showing a rapid increase in membership, which stood at over 320. The increase was largely due to the keen interest of all the officers and the fine spirit of comradeship shown throughout the meetings. In moving the adoption, P.D.P. Bro. Harding said the position was one any lodge could be well proud of. He referred to the early history of the lodge, mentioning some 18 years back when they had hardly enongh members to fill the chairs at a’meeting. Hliey had had a very energetic secretary and very capable officers, to whom the present position was due. The report was adopted. At the conclusion of the meeting supper was provided and the usual toasts were honoured. Musical and elocutionary items were given by visiting anl local brethren.
