KILLED BY MOTOR-BUS
NEGLIGENCE OF DRIVER. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. An inquest was held to-day regarding the death of John Johnson, as the result of injuries received in a collision between his motor-cycle and a motor-’bus in the Great North Road. Mr. McKean, S.M., the coroner, returned a formal verdict of death due to injuries received through being knocked down by a ’bus, and added that negligence on the part of the ’bus driver, David Shannon, was shown by his own evidence.
