A-STEAMER HELD UP
TROUBLE WITH THE CREW. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Napier, Dee. 13. The Kaitangata is held up here pending the arrival of a fireman from Wellington. On Saturday one fireman fell off the wharf, and demanded a new suit from the U.S.S. Co. before sailing. The crew backed him up. but the company turned down the request. The crew have now agreed to take the ship to sea when a full complement is available. One greaser was sent to hospital suffering front abscesses, and this vacancy will be filled by a man from Wellington.
