FALL FROM A WINDOW
INJURIES PROVE FATAL. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Dec. 13. Douglas Dexter Box, aged 29, a single returned soldier, of Sumner, fell to the pavement from the second story window of the Southbridge Hotel yesterday, and received injuries to the head, from which he died later. At the inquest a verdict was returned of accidental death. The coroner stated there was no suggestion of drink in any way, Box’ having been a steady man.
