Worker, Mitchell (Hawke's Bay), Dempster, Bernau, Orr (Wanganui), Gallichan (Manawatu), Clarke, ' Kingston, Nasmith (Taranaki), Newman (Nelson). Reserves: Lash (Taranaki), Cameron (Rangitikei). Hollings, F. T. Badcock, M. Henderson. The remainder will be selected after Saturday's matches. The same team represents Wellington against Minor Associations at Wellington on December 21 and 22. PLUNKET SHIELD MATCH. Wellington, Last Night. £205 was guaranteed during the day to New Zealand Cricket, Ltd., making Wellington's total £341. The Wellington Association has accepted Jan ary 21, 22 and 24 for the Plunket Shield match v. Auckland at Auckland.

Queensland has 'been postponed until to-morrow. SOUTH AUSTRALIA v. VICTORIA. 'Received Dec. 6, 11.5 p.m. Adelaide, Dee. 6. South Australia in their first innings made 481 (Rymill 14'2). Blackie took seven for 159. Victoria in their second innings have lost one wicket for 116 (Woodfull not out 53, Ponsford 54). The weather is fine and the wicket good. Rymill opened confidently, and batted brilliantly throughout. He scored freely with attractive strokes, hitting with power, and placing with wonderful precision. The bowling appeared to lack sting. Woodfull and Ponsford opened Victoria’s second innings cautiously, but by careful batting slowly added to the score, both batting with confidence.
