The second day of the Forbury Park spring meeting was held in wintry weather and on a heavy traek. which again made for slow times. The totalisator handled £26,G00 10s for the' day, as compared with £37,411 10s for the second day last year, making a total for the meeting of £54,566 10s, as compared with £61,753 10s last year. Tim Wood was always prominent, and finally won very easily by twelve lengths from Real the Great, who beat the fast finishing Young Tom by over two lengths. Freeman was fourth. Time, smin 13 3-ssec.
