HEAVY DAMAGE CAUSED. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Convright. London, Nov. 1. Damage to the extent of £l5-0,000 sterling was done by a fire in the British Tobacco Company’s premises at Southampton. Five hundred workers are rendered idle, as the factory is the centre of the company’s export trade.
