EX-KAISER’S INDEMNITY

PRUSSIA MAKES FIRST PAYMENT. By Telegraph —Press Assn. —Copyright. Received Nov. 2, 5.5 p.m. Berlin, Nov. 1. The first instalment of the £750,000 Hohenzollern indemnity sanctioned by the Prussian Parliament was paid today, when a cheque for £250,000 was sent to the ex-Kaiser’s bankers. Two other equal instalments will be paid in February and March. The greater part of the first instalment will swallowed up in payment of the ex-Kaiser’s and his family’s long outstanding debts.
