ENGLISH TEAM S TOUR By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Melbourne, Nov. 1. The president of the Lawn Tennis Association of Australia and New Zealand (Mr. Norman Brooks), who recently returned from England, to'd a meeting of the Council of the Association that the English Association had promised to send a team, probably inc.tiding Mr. and Mrs. Godfree, Kingsley, Gregory and either Lester or Austin, in the slimmer of 1927-23. After playing in the American championships th» players will spend a week in New Zealand before coining to Australia. . The French Association had promised to send a team by the same route, about the same season. There was every prospect of a visit from a Japanese team. Every effort was being made ta get the visiting teams to include New Zealand in their itineraries.
