ADDITIONAL LOAN APPROVED. Subject to the scrutiny of the voting papers, ratepayers in the Huiroa and Douglas districts have, by the poll taken yesterday, signified their approval to the raising of a loan of £lO,OOO by the Taranaki Electric Power Board for the reticulation of their district. The voting was as follows: For. Against. Huiroa 5 2 Douglas .......... 11 1 Totals 16 3 The necessary three-fifths majority is therefore assured.
