RABBITTER FOUND DEAD
SEQUEL TO QUEER BEHAVIOUR. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Carterton, Nov. 1. A rabbiter at Hikurangi named Toby Clerk, aged about 40 years, was reported missing since Saturday. He has been away from the station on a holiday, from which he returned on Wednesday. His manner had been queer and his disappeared on Saturday. His body was found yesterday in a creek at the back of a cowshed, ■with a bullet wound in the head. An inquest will be hid.
