Alfred Scott, aged 56, charged that, he did obtain £l6 16s from Alfred Richard Leevers by means of false pretence with intent to defraud, was remanded to appear at Pahiatua on September 8. Accused was arrested at the Benopai head works of the Marlborough hvdro-electrio' scheme.
