The provisional figures of Germany’s reparation payments for tho second year of the Dawes scheme ended on August 31, show a total of £58,000,000 paid, to which a further £2,600,000 accruing in September must be added. Germany has delivered goods worth £33,000,000, while the army of occupation has cost £4,400,000. Received Sept. 2, 8.30 p.m. London, Sept. 2. The significance of Germany’s reparation payments lies in the fact that with the payment of 45 million gold marks by the German railway company yesterday morning, Germany has paid in full the annuity of. £60,000,000 provided in the second year of the experts’ plan. The Reparation Commission thinks this is proof that Germany is faithfully performing her obligations.
