ATTITUDE TO MEXICO. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Received Sept, 2, 1.30 p.m. New York, Sept, 1. Messrs Saul Smith and Flaherty told President Coolidge on Wednesday that the Knights of Columbus would not ask for the intervention of the United States in Mexico. They said the Order desired only to exercise whatever good offices were possible under international law to ameliorate the conditions of Mexico.
