SATURDAY’S ROAD RACE. Mr. W. Roebuck has declared the following handicaps for Saturday’s races, to start sharp at 1.45 -p.m.:— Seniors, Waitara and back, 17 miles approximately S. McCann (scr.), R, Johnstone, A. Gable (30secs), R. Yardley, C. Aroa (60 secs), J. Cross, W. Brewster (Imin. losecs), D. George, C. Hellier (Imin. 30sec), J. Peel, A. Putt (2min.), N. Bellringer (2min. 50secs), G. Cavaney (3min. 30secs), J. Campbell, E. Knofflock, L. McCann (4min. lOsecs), C. McKew (4}min.). Points at present for the senior cup are: C. Hellier 8, J. Peel 7, A. Putt 7, S. McCann 5, N. Bellringer 2, R. Johnstone 1, A. Gable 1, D. George 1. Junior road championship, 10 miles. Championship for fastest time:—R. Christiansen, C. Tippens (scr.), D. Robertson, C. Henry (Imin. 10sec.), K, Ward (2min.), J. Rutherford, Les. Roberts (2min. 20 secs).
Junior cup points now stand: —C. Henry 7, Robertson 6, Tippens 6, Christiansen 4, Roberts 4, Rutherford 1. « This race will decide the cup winner, junior road championship, and also a medal for the runner-up in points.
